Popular Ghanaian artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, well-known as Stonebwoy, has denied having a hand in the cancellation of Shatta Wale’s performance at the University of Ghana.
Shatta Wale was to perform at the Reunion Rave Artiste Night at James Topp Nelson Yankah Hall (TF Hostel) of the University of Ghana on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
However, his performance was later cancelled.
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy, who was also having an event at Liman Hall of the University of Ghana had the green light to perform.
Accusing fingers were pointed at Stonebwoy over the cancellation of the event at which Wale was to perform.
A statement from Wave Africa, the organizers of the event at TF Hostel, explaining that the Dean of Students’ office, was behind the order of cancellation was still doubted by the artiste and his fans.
But during an interview on Asaase Radio, Stonebwoy denied the allegation.
The Bhim Nation boss said he was surprised and further labelled the accusation as ridiculous.
He stressed that he had nothing to do with what happened. Stonebwoy added he would be having superpowers to cancel Shatta Wale’s show.
