Renowned Ghanaian Gospel musician, McAbraham, has made an interesting remark about Gospel artistes charging for shows.
In a recent interview with ZionFelix, the famous Gospel singer argued that it’s not right for Gospel artistes to charge before performing at Gospel events.
Known for a popular song ‘Adea Me Pe’, McAbraham said he had never charged before he performed at any event.
To him, not charging for performing at events has been helpful. He recalled being dashed dollars after he performed at an event without quoting a charge.
He spoke against Gospel artistes who charge higher to perform at events, stating that it defeats the purpose of propagating the word of God through their craft or songs.
The veteran Ghanaian Gospel musician, known in private life as Reverend Sarpong McAbraham, believes they will earn more if they do it open-heartedly without putting a price on what they do as Gospel artistes.
McAbraham had a lot to say in this interview, reacting to the business side of it and other expenses.
