Who Is The Originator Of Azonto? Swag Kid advices Sarkodie & Gasmilla
Swag Kid who is currently the youngest, fastest rapper to emerge from
Ghana with his fluency in English language delivery has lend his voice
to the growing debate of who is the originator of the Azonto dance.
Over the weekend, he sent his message across at the gathering of
'R2Bees & Friends' event held in Tema, where he performed and also
pleaded to both Sarkodie and Gasmilla to allow the good name of the
brand-Azonto to prevail rather than quest for personal glories. In his
own words, the eleven year old lad said, "I feel that Azonto is a
beautiful thing that has come out from this part of the world. Instead
of trying to create unnecessary rants of who brought it or who didn't
do this and that, we should be happy for its emergence, we should be
glad that we have 'something' that we can call ours." When asked what
he feels about the pressing beef between Sarkodie and Gasmilla on who
is the originator of Azonto, he said, "I will not stand here and say
that this person or that person is the originator of the dance. My
advice is that they should be calm and concentrate on their chosen
career and be firm in pushing Azonto as a brand instead of allowing
the public to brew rancor between them." Swag Kid in the same vein
thanked all his fans who have followed him; embraced his style of rap
and thus called for more reviews and comments on how he can serve them
well. Recently Swag Kid made history with his single-JUPA which is
currently trending as the most played song by the youngest rapper in
Ghana within the first month of it release. The uniqueness of the song
since its release has drastically increased his fan base and the King
Jay's Entertainment Record Label signee is bracing up for his
forthcoming nationwide tour. Have a feel of the JUPA song…
