Kwaw Kese, Okyeame Kwame, others for MTN nine lessons & carols
Leading telecommunications company, MTN, would
organize the 2013 edition of its annual Nine
Lessons and Carols on December 19, at the
Accra International Conference Centre.
This would be the fifth edition and expectations
are very high as the event has thrilled its
audience beyond expectation for the last five
years.
Perhaps the most memorable was the 2012
edition, when a hip-life musician appeared on
state with a live fowl strapped in pampers as
part of his theatrics and eventually got the
auditorium on fire with guests dancing and
singing to his version of the 'Little Drummer
Boy'.
This year, the event's organizer, Farmhouse
Productions, has confirmed that artistes to
perform include Kwaw Kese, Okyeame Kwame,
Ofie Kudjoe, Nicholas Omane Acheampong,
Kwaku Gyasi, Koo Ntakra, winner of Hitmaker 2,
the El Dunamis Choir, Miriam of Hitmaker 1
fame, Cano-Z from Hitmaker 2, K Bee of
Hitmaker 2 fame and a surprise act.
"Christmas is a time of giving and reflecting on
what the New Year has to offer and we want our
customers to join us as we thank the Lord for a
successful year," said Admiral Abbey of MTN
Ghana's Events Department.
Ivan Quashigah, chief executive, Farmhouse,
explained that the event is a way of saying thank
you to members of the MTN family and giving
them a direct feel of the Christmas experience.
