Youthful Praise 2014 Held In Sunyani Hosted By David’s Incorporated
I witnessed a celebration concert dubbed Youthful Praise, which was
held at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. The program was
organised by a music ministry called David's Incorporated. And the
venue for attraction was the Calvary Charismatic Centre (C.C.C)
Sunyani auditorium.
The program was scheduled to kick-start at 5pm. And i arrived at the
auditorium around 5:15pm, and i was ushered to my seat. Thirty minutes
passed my arrival and technicians on board were still testing their
equipments, plus low turn out of audience as at that time. Meanwhile,
the program was suppose to start at 5pm. oh no!!! But that's a typical
Ghanaian character/sickness and the pastors should help to pray against
that, it does happen in almost all Ghanaian events/programs.
INTERACTION WITH OTHERS
DONALD told me he came around 4pm and may be he will not stay for the
program to end.
MR. DENNIS said, he doesn't understand the delays, but let's wait and
see what the good Lord will do.
6:20pm~ The singers warmed us up by giving praises unto the most the
most high. They started with Bishop Paul S. Morton's "let it rain".
Wow nice piece and powerful song they ministered there, and indeed the
man above let it rained because with a twinkle of an eye the
auditorium was filled to capacity.
Lovely reader, I really enjoyed the night despite the late start up of
the Gospel Praise Concert. I wish you were there to see how i was
shaking my body and my long legs…..lol….
And the lady who led the singing group around 6:20 to 6:50pm, sang
like an angel, I wish i can say she's the best gospel singer i've come
across in Ghana. I thought i was listening to Cece Winans. Infact they
got talents.
At some point, It was obvious that most of the audience were not
familiar with some of the foreign gospel songs. So the lead singer ask
if they should switch to local songs and the audience shouted, yes!!!
So we started doing the local thing, yeah local praises of course. I
wish you were there to see how we dance and sang along.
There were a lot of invited guests and dignitaries who made the
program a success. It was a night full of blessings and a night to
remember. It was the 4th edition praise concert by David's Inc.
Mr. Fortune Nii Adotey is the president of the group and he told the
News Hunter Magazine that, He do agree that there was some short
comings, but that's their first time of encountering such hitches. He
said, "it was great in a look comparing to the previous ones".
