Court jails 19-year-old thief

A 19 year-old unemployed, Kwabena Ebo, was on Tuesday sentenced to five
years imprisonment in hard labour by a Tarkwa Circuit Court for stealing
GH?2, 000.
He also stole an HP laptop, one full piece of Holland cloth, promise
ring, dressing coat and three mobile phones valued GH? 2,170.
He pleaded guilty.
Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Oscar Amponsah, told the court
presided by Mr Justice Samuel Obeng Diawuo that the complainant,
Faustina Bandoh, is a dress maker residing at Tarkwa while the convict
does not have a permanent place of abode.
