Chief Executive Officer of First Liberty Microfinance Limited, Dr.
Kusi Boachie Yiadom has advice drivers and motorist to be very careful
during the festive season.
He said the country records numerous road accidents which can be
avoidable if drivers will drive without alcohol intake and also not
overspeeding.
Dr. Boachie Yiadom disclosed this at an end of year meeting of the
company, which involved all customers in the Brong Ahafo Region on
Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Sunyani.
He said success of every company depends on the customers. Hence, it
worths for management of the company to meet with it's customers and
seek for their advice/suggestions in order to serve them better.
According to him, First Liberty Microfinance mission is to service
low-income clients providing them short term and /or long-term access
to financial services, that are client focused, designed to enhance
their well-being, and in a manner that is ethical, dignified,
transparent, equitable and cost effective.
He added that, Microfinance is a universal bank at the lower level,
and the aim of the company is to migrate from microfinance to savings
and loans next year.
Dr. Boachie Yiadom asked the customers to invest into the company and
also payback loans that they acquire from the company.
He stated that, the initiation of Microfinance Companies is to
eradicate poverty and therefore advised them to do business with
companies which are duly registered and certified by the Bank of
Ghana.
