A man suspected to be mentally challenged has allegedly killed a
pregnant woman in a bush at Nsuaem, a farming community near Obuasi in
the Ashanti region.
According to the report, the man who lives in the same house with the
woman asked her escort him to the farm where he carried out the
gruesome murder.
Some of the residents who spoke to Adom News said the man started
behaving strangely when he was quizzed of the whereaboutsof the
pregnant woman.
"He told us to ask the bush when we waited several hours for the
pregnant woman to return.
So we became alarmed and mounted a search" a resident said.They later
found the corpse buriedin the farm and reported the man to the police.
The suspect, the resident said bolted to a town called Kwakyekrom but
was later arrested after the police mounted a manhunt.
He is currently at the Nsuaem-Kwakyekrom police cells pending investigation.
