Jennifer Lawrence topped the2015 Forbes ranking of the highest-paid
actresses in Hollywood with an estimated earning of $52 million over
the past 12 months.
Lawrence climbed from No. 2last year to lead the field with an
expected $52 million in paydays from June 2014 toJune 2015. Her pull
is $1 million more than a year ago's leader, Sandra Bullock, who
dropped to No. 15 this time around with $8 million in income.Scarlett
Johansson tipped the scales at No. 2 with $35.5 million, trailed by
Melissa McCarthy ($23 million).
Newcomers on the list are China's Bingbing Fan and Amanda Seyfried.
Forbes noticed that lucrative endorsement deals keep veterans, for
example, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie in the
main 20.
"For the first time ever, the ranking examined the world'shighest-paid
leading ladies tocreate a truly global list of actress earnings.
Despite the broader valuations, only one non-American made the list:
Chinese actress Bingbing Fan,who ranked No. 4 with a $21 million haul.
Fan, who joins the ranking thanks to roles inmovies such as The
White-Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom and endorsements with Chopard and
L'Oreal, is likely best-known to U.S. cinema-goers for her role in
X-Men: Days of Future Past," according toForbes.
