Kumasi Asante Kotoko whiped their rivals Accra Hearts of Oak by 2 goals to 1 at the Accra Sports Stadium today in a super clash encounter.

Goals from Amos Frimpong and Dauda was enough to secure victory for the Porcupine Worriors in the First Capital Premier League in Ghana.

Heart of Oak’s consolidation goal was scored by Inusah Musah in the second half of the game.

Captain of Hearts of Oak failed to convert a spot kick that was awarded to his team by referee Ametepe in the 22nd minute of the period.

The defeat of Accra Hearts of Oak will have a far written consequences on the team as far as the Ghanaian league log is concerned-The position of Hearts on the log seems precarious after every match day.

The two big clubs in the league; Hearts and Kotoko, have never tasted relegation since the inception of the Ghanaian league in 1958.

Accra Hearts of Oak drops to the 15th position as Kotoko rises 8th position on the log sheet.

Hearts will play against Liberty Professional, Bechem United, Medeama FC, WAFA and Berekum Chelsea in their last five league matches to end the 2014-2015 campaign season in the First Capital Premier League in Ghana.
