B/A Rep At Ghana Most Beautiful Season 9-Ama Bags The Best Cook

Afariwaa and Ama
It would be so nice if inner beauty triumphed over outer appearance.
But men are designed to care about packaging. It’s time to accept the
not-so-pretty facts about looks.
There are certain practical
realities of existence that most of us accept. If you want to catch a bear, you
don’t load the trap with a copy of Catch-22—not unless you rub it with a
considerable quantity of raw hamburger. If you want to snag a fish, you can’t
just slap the water with your hand and yell, “Jump on my hook,
already!” Yet, if you’re a woman who wants to land a man, there’s this
notion that you should be able to go around looking like Ernest Borgnine: If
you’re “beautiful on the inside,” that’s all that should count.
Right. And I should have a flying car and a mansion in Bel Air with servants
and a moat.
Brong Ahafo’s Representative at this
season’s Ghana Most Beautiful pageant show, Ama Adomah Fauziah is making the
region proud week-in and week-out with her fascinating performance.
Ama, as I affectionately call her is
not only showcasing cultural background and how beautiful the people of B/A
are—but also teaching her fellow contestant who to cook well and also present
themselves at the kitchen.
Ama was emerged winner at the house
after a competition aimed at promoting the consumption of traditional Ghanaian
dishes last Saturday.
The contestants were assessed based
on their cleanliness in the kitchen, comportment and presentation of their
dishes as well as the taste.
Ama Adomah and Afariwa from the
Eastern region were merged together to perform the week’s task (cooking
contest).
After the hustles in the kitchen,
Brong Ahafo’s Ama Adomah Fauziah and his partner Afari, who prepared Ghana’s
most consumed meal, Banku and Okro Stew came up on top of the contest with 18
points out of 20 points.
Clearly, you could see some of the
contestants struggling in there—but it was a ‘cool chop’ for those who learned
it from their mama like Ama Adomah from B/A.
Onga Ghana Limited Representative
who doubled as a judge on the day, Raphael Awuku said all the contestants put
up their best but Ama and her Group A partner prepared the most delicious dish
with many Ghanaian local ingredients.
The winners of the competition, Ama
and Adjoa were presented with a Master Chef Burner and hamper from Onga Ghana
Limited while the second-placed team of Ayesha and Vera won Rice Cookers with
the third place duo, Melody and Maame Akosua walking away with Blenders.
Ghana
Most Beautiful is aimed at promoting the cultures of Ghana are vital in the
tourism potentials of the country.
