“Walk With Xandy For Peace” receives Thousands of patrons in Buem Constituency

“Walk With Xandy For Peace” is an initiative by Pooley’s Tv and Epic Concept , the event aimed at preaching peace throughout the ten (10) regions of Ghana , had its first edition receiving thousands of patrons on Saturday 9th July , 2016 in Buem, a Constituency in the Volta Region.

The walk spearheaded by Ghana ‘s finest female actress Miss Xandy Kamel came to live at exactly 7am as the District Chief Executive Officer , Assemblyman , the youth and students of the Buem Constituency conveyed at the District Assembly Office round about for the three (3) hour long walk to commence.

Students from the Buem Senior High School came out in their numbers chanting peace songs with a blast band , displaying plague cards reading “Ghana For Peace” ,”One Ghana One Nation”, “Peace We Need” ,”Peace is the Path” etc .

As the walk took the streets of Jasikan ,Kajakrom and its surroundings. The walk took a huge turn as the Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency joined the walk , he calls an exercise for peace in his “walk with Xandy for peace” branded T – Shirt.

Dj Too Cool , Naa ,Lilwin’s Boss Nation’s Diva and Ajoa Ghana’s youngest female rap artist also supported the initiative and Ajoa known for her rap talent , didn’t just walk but also rapped and performed peace songs with the band’s men as the walk was on going.

The walk finally ended at the forecourt of the District Assembly Office , and allowed opinion leaders , the District Chief Executive Officer and the Member of Parliament talk and speak on the need for peace as country.

The honourable Member of Parliament Mr Daniel Kwesi Ashiamah expressed joy in speaking with the people Jasikan and a cross section of students from his Constituency and sounded privileged.

He went on to commended Miss Xandy Kamel who happens to be the first daughter of the late and former Volta Regional minister Mr Henry Ford Kamel whose untimely demise occurred in 2012 for a good job done in bringing such an initiative of peace to her people.
