Ambassador George Kumi Names Kwabena Kwabena As His Favorite Ghanaian Musician

Independent Parliamentary Aspirant for Sunyani East Constituency, H.E George Kumi has disclosed his favorite Ghanaian musician in a recent interview.
Ambassador George Kumi, who was the ambassador to Libya and Nigeria under the erstwhile Kufuor administration named Kwabena Kwabena as his favorite musician.
“Kwabena Kwabena is my favorite artist. I like his Bue Kwan Mame song.
“It is only God who can open the way for his people. The track motivates me in whatever I do,” he told DJ Sly on Ark Fm’s Weekend City Show.
When asked whether he likes Kwabena Kwabena due to his affiliation to the NPP, He answered: “I do not like him because of his affiliation to the NPP. I like him because of his hard work. I am yet to know if he is card bearing member of NPP.”
Ambassador George Kumi holds a BSc Degree in Land Economy from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana (1982) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria (1996).
He was the Chief Executive Officer of Georgio-Investment Limited, a company of real estate developers. Prior to this, he was a partner in Mark Odu and Company, and had also served as the District Chief Executive for Sunyani District, in the Brong Ahafo Region.
He is affiliated to a number of professional bodies both in Ghana and Nigeria, including the Ghana Institute of Surveyors and the Nigeria Institute of Management.
Ambassador Kumi is a keen sportsman and was the sports chairman of Queens Hall, University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
