Beefing Is Healthy For The Music Industry – Datz Tells Eddy Blay

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Beefing amongst artists started years back when Ghana’s dancehall king took on the C.E.O of high grade family Samini, hip-hop lovers saw Manifest take on Sarkordie, on a serious rivalry race.

Currently the music Industry looks more of a rivalry camp as Quata hits on Sarkodie, Yaa Pono unleashed on Shatta Wale whiles StoneBwouy and Jupiter Diss on Migraine Rhythm.

One may ask, is this appropriate for the music industry and a good act for up and coming artist to follow.

Issa Sadat Richmond, popularly known as “Datz” in an interview with one of Ghana’s long serving Radio and Television presenters Eddy Blay on the Late Night Celebrity Show, on Etv Gh last Monday openly supported the act of Beefing and went on to say it’s healthy for the music industry.

“As a rap artist, pouring your feelings on a beat makes you feel better, and I believe it’s a convenient way of sending a message across to your haters,” He said.

“Beefing an artist is healthy when it’s brings you the artist gigs, like it did for Samini and Shatta Wale,” He explained and quickly added its fine to concentrate on producing good songs than to Beef an artist without earning gigs.

“Datz” with his Foto music video out and trending on various television platforms, confessed He Will Beef when the right opportunity presents itself.
