King Dee who hails from the Region told the News Hunter Magazine in a recent interview that there are a lot of great talents in the Brong Ahafo Region which needs to be nurtured.
“The entertainment industry in Brong Ahafo has seen improvement. But we have a lot to do because
B/A have a lot of great talents that we have to push them into the limelight.
“The little problem we have in B/A is that people do not help. People feel their efforts would not be recognized after the artiste has risen to fame and may go for a different management team,” he stated.
King Dee who has been a sound engineer for almost 15 years now advised industry players in the region not to give up.
He also pledged his support for up and coming musicians in the Region.
When asked why he moved from Sunyani to Ghana’s capital city-Accra, King Dee divulged: “Accra is a business centre and there are more opportunities here.”
He told us that most recording studios in Sunyani are were equipped and even doing very well when you compare it to some studios in Accra.
King Dee has worked with all the A-list musicians in Ghana after he migrated from Sunyani to Accra.
