Ghanaian Gospel Musician and Superintendent of the Ghana Police Service, SP Kofi Sarpong has hinted of his plans to promote tourist sites in the Brong Ahafo Region.
SP Kofi Sarpong’s Manager, Mr. Kwasi Ernest disclosed his readiness to kick start the campaign in a recent interview.
“Kofi is ready and he told me he would like to concentrate more on the tourist sites in the Brong Ahafo Region. Once he has accepted this, we will do it,” he told Felix Adjei (Mr. Lattus) on J. Life FM’s Entertainment Chart Show.
Mr. Kwasi Ernest appealed to residents to collaborate with them and sell the tourist sites in the region both in and outside the country.
This was on the back of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture naming him among other ambassadors to promote the country’s tourism.
SP Kofi Sarpong who is under the management of Media Excel Production hails from Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region.
He has three (3) albums to his credit. ‘Sacrifice’, his first album which was released in 2012 brought him into limelight—and he followed it up with ‘My Saviour’ and ‘I Believe’.
SP Kofi Sarpong can boast of winning at Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Ghana Music Awards UK and other internationally recognized awards.
