Ghanaians Are Now Patronizing Made In Ghana Products – Emelia Arthur

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Ghanaian gospel singer and Ambassador for Made in Ghana
Campaign, Emelia Arthur has revealed that Ghanaians taste for foreign products
is now changing.

Speaking in an interview with Felix Adjei (Mr. Lattus) on J.
Life FM’s Entertainment Chart Show, Emelia Arthur disclosed that Ghanaians are
now patronizing made in Ghana products.
 “It wasn’t easy when
we started in 2014 but gradually there have been improvements. People don
African wears to parties and other occasions. Ghanaians were brainwashed that
we do not have quality products…so our taste for foreign products was high but that
perception is changing now,” she stated.
She hinted that the 22nd edition of Ghana
International Trade Fair will be held from February 28 to March 7,
2018.
“It is my heartfelt that Ghanaian producers will troop in their
numbers and hire a stand in order to showcase their products to the
international community. This is another opportunity to show them the quality
products that we have.”
She called on producers to package and also brand their
products well.
“Choose catchy names for your products. Make quality products
and also make them cheap,” Emelia Arthur pleaded.
She added that high patronage of Made in Ghana products will
make the price cheaper.
