Preparations are underway for the one-week celebration of the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns to be held.
A family source has told Suncity Radio that the one-week celebration will be marked at the St. Martin De Porres School in Dansoman-Accra on Sunday, February 18, 2018.
The 20-year-old musician met her untimely death on the Kumasi-Sunyani road following a road accident on Thursday.
Among those who perished were her friend, Francisca Nkansah, and a military officer, Francis Vondee Atsu. Her driver who survived the accident is receiving treatment at the Bechem Government Hospital.
Ebony was discovered by musician and entrepreneur Bullet from Ruff n Smooth, and was signed to his Ruff Town record label.
Ebony came out with her first single, “Dancefloor”, in December 2015 with a video and audio release. The song became a hit on radio landing her nomination for the unsung category at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.
In March 2016 Ebony released her major hit single “Kupe”. Ebony was signed to Ruff Town Records and Midas Touch Inc.
