According to them, twenty two (22) musicians who picked the
nomination forms have all submitted it—before the close of nominations.

Speaking in an interview with the News Hunter Magazine, the
Project Coordinator of J Black Code Events, Abubakari Abdul Samed stated that
the nominations board will shortlist the nominees for the award ceremony on
Wednesday.

“We distributed nomination forms across all the media houses
both at Kintampo North and South. Some of the musicians also picked their forms
from our office in Kintampo,” he disclosed how the process began.

He indicated that they will let the public know those who
may be shortlisted after the board have finished their duties.

“Nominees jam will be held at the Tamale station in Kintampo
on Saturday around 6:00 pm. We will unveil all the nominees for the people of
Kintampo to see them. All the nominees will be performing…and other six (6)
artists from Techiman, Two (2) from Nkoranza will come and support the program,”
he revealed.
