All Is Set For Suncity Medical Outreach Programme

The second in the series of the Suncity Radio Medical Outreach Programme, takes off tomorrow, Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Kwatiri, near Odumase in the Sunyani West District of the Brong Ahafo Region.
In an interview with Nana KAS on Suncity Radio, Tuesday morning, Professor Stephen Tabiri, Consultant Surgeon at the Tamale Teaching Hospital and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Development Studies, Tamale, who is leading the Medical Team for the programme, said all was set for the free medical care on Wednesday, March 28.
He urged prospective clients to report at the Kwatiri Health Centre by 8am, to go through the screening exercise, for the necessary medical attention.
Cases to be treated include: Hernia, Fibroid, Anal fissures, Haemorrhoids Hydrocele, any swelling on any part of the body, Obstetric complications and other Gynaecological problems.
Prof. Tabiri commended the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Suncity Radio, Mr Ransford Antwi, the Sunyani West District Health Directorate, Heavens Laboratory and all stakeholders and collaborators who were contributing in diverse ways, towards the success of the programme.
He was particularly grateful to Heavens Laboratory for offering free laboratory tests for about 80 clients so far, for the event.
Commenting on the programme, Dr Adu Appiah Kubi, an Obstetrician Gynaecologist at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, who is also a member of the Medical Team, said his field of service was ready for the event.
He advised clients with gynaecological cases, to report at the Health Centre at 6am prompt, to go through the treatment process.
The free medical health care, sponsored by Suncity Radio’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ransford Antwi and Suncity Imperial Lodge, runs from Wednesday, March 28th, through the Easter holidays and ends on Sunday, April 1st, 2018.
