Television Presenter, Maame Yeboah Asiedu, has advised young women in Ghana not to emulate what they come across on social media.
Speaking in an interview with Melvina Frimpong Manso on Suncity Radio’s Showbiz 971 in Sunyani, Maame Yeboah Asiedu lamented how young women in the country copy anything that they see on the internet.
She indicated that most of the celebrities and the wannabees want love and acceptance—so they would do anything to get attention. According to her, those celebs have an influence on young women so parents must step up their game in training their children.
The Adom TV Presenter further advised young women to stop living extravagant lives.
She averred that patience will let them reach greater height if they do not use the easy way out.
“It won’t be easy but with time you will get something legitimate to do as a lady. If you are good at what you do, men won’t sleep with you before they offer you a job. It is good for you to suffer before you gain than to do something that you will later regret. Let your talent and hard work put you there,” Maame Yeboah Asiedu stated.
Commenting on the recent Moesha Boduong-CNN interview, the silky voice presenter said: “I thought Moesha’s video was a prank. I felt angry due to the platform that she used. That’s her opinion… Her comment was unfortunate.”
