Ghanaian preacher, Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, has stated that Patapaa is under a curse.
According to him, the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker cannot win any award until he is delivered.
“It will take powerful men of God to deliver Patapaa from the spiritual attack.
“Patapaa is cursed,” he revealed.
“I never liked his song right from the beginning. I’m not surprised he lost. He has been cursed, spiritually. His song was indeed popular which means he should have won the award but because of the curse, he lost. He will never be popular,” he added.
Prophet Kumchacha’s comment was on the heels of Patapaa’s inability to win the ‘Popular Song of the Year’ at the 2018 edition of the Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Contradicting his assertion, the Swedru-based artiste won the ‘Viral Song of the Year’ award at the 3 Music Awards after beating ‘Taking Over’ by Shatta Wale feat SM Militants, ‘Confessions’ by Kofi Kinaata, ‘Ladder’ by Lil Win and ‘Bronya’ by Wutah.
