Everybody has a story tell, but what Nana Boroo did to survive will shock you!
Speaking in an interview with Doreen Andoh on Joy FM’s “Cosmopolitan Mix”, the Ghanaian singer, known in private life as Nana Osei Bonsu, revealed that sold condoms, lubricants and other s*x toys to survive.
“I used to sell stuff. I was selling vibrators, condoms, lubricants, surgical cloths… Very unique yet colourful condoms” he disclosed.
Nana Boroo said his breakthrough occurred after he featured SK Blinks on his “Aha Ye De” song.
“My song took me to places, meeting people and seeing the money I never thought I would see”.
Talking about his absence from the music scene, he said ambassadorial roles and other business ventures he is managing is keeping him away.
“I don’t like working under pressure. I don’t even follow the trend. I wanna take time before I put my song out so I look different. I wasn’t so focused on music until last year. I won’t say my art career is over. I take time to research. I love art every day…”
Nana Boroo, who is currently promoting his song ‘Broken Heart’ featuring Sarkodie, hinted of coming out with an album soon.
