Prolific Ghanaian dancehall/reggae artiste, Stonebwoy, has revealed how depression knocks at the doors of many musicians.
He stated that most of them cannot tell when they are depressed.
The ‘Most Original’ composer disclosed that working demands and pressure contributes to this health implication.
“It’s not easy coming from artiste point of view; the works, demands, expectation… we don’t realise when we are depressed, we only go through a phase. It’s not healthy at all,” he said on Hitz FM’s ‘Day Break’ program.
Stonebwoy added: “I try to calm down and rest. The over-expectation is more and I think we go through that a lot unknowingly. I love to be by myself and alone and most often doing nothing literally. My circle is close so I am a very private person. I find entertainment in entertaining the people.”
