Fast-rising Ghanaian songstress, Wendy Addo, popularly known as Wendy Shay has said her manager is always her comforter when ‘trouble looms’.
Wendy, who seems unable to tolerate heavy criticisms from a section of Ghanaians, said the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rufftown Records, Ricky Nana Agyemang, otherwise known as Bullet is always on her side to encourage and advise her.
She posited that Bullet has been in the Ghanaian music industry for a very long time so he knows much about the game.
“I run to my boss, he has been in the game longer. You know he used to be Bullet ‘Ruff N Smooth’. You Know I didn’t grow up here, but he has been here so he knows what to do and say. I asked him why Ghanaians are like this, why they do this and he is there for me”, she stated.
Wendy Shay was ushered into the Ghanaian music scene following the release of her debut song ‘Uber Driver’.
Since then, she has followed it up with songs like Bedroom Commando, Psalm 35, The Boy Is Mine, Astalavista, Uber Driver and Masakra.
She is now a household name as far as the Ghanaian music industry is concerned—and you cannot mention popular musicians in the country now without mentioning her name.
