Famous Ghanaian dancehall/reggae artiste, Shatta Wale, known in private life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., has opened up on his plans to work with Beyoncé again.
If you would recall, Wale was featured on Beyoncé’s ‘Already’ song for ‘The Lion King’ album.
Speaking in an interview with DJ Edu on BBC Xtra 1—which Newshuntermag.com has come across, the ‘Freedom’ composer disclosed his interest in working with the American singer for the second time.
Without mincing words, Shatta Wale revealed he would like to feature Beyoncé on his forthcoming ‘Konekt’ album.
He indicated that teaming up with Nigeria’s Tekno on ‘Incoming’, the first song off his yet-to-be-released album shows what he can do differently.
Wale further talked about the training he is getting from Bankule, moving his music to a new direction—and why he is now working with Nigerian artistes.
