Ghanaian Gospel musician, Joe Mettle has revealed how God changed his story.
Speaking in an interview on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show with Daniel Dadzie, the ‘Onwanwani’ composer said he passed through a lot of difficult moments in his life—but God changed his story.
“No man can claim credit for who I am today…It was God who changed my story. All things work together for the good of them that loved the lord,” he said.
According to him, he knew God had a plan for his life, even when he travelled on foot for several miles because he could not afford transportation.
“Whoever I have become today is God. God might have used many men to help me but the credit entirely belongs to Him.
“God kept my mind intact. No man can claim credit for what God has done for me. I am most grateful to God for my life. God is able to do all things.
“It does not a matter where you or who you are, God can still make you what he created you for. At the appointed time, it will come to pass,” Joe Mettle added.
He was the first gospel musician to be crowned as the artiste of the year in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
