Ghanaian actress and producer, Tracey Boakye has revealed she nearly lost her daughter when she was four months – two weeks pregnant.
Sharing her ‘Pregnancy Journey’ in a video posted on YouTube, the ‘Baby Mama’ producer revealed she almost had a miscarriage after gospel musician, Ohemaa Jacky hurled insults at her on social media.
According to her, the banter with Ohemaa Jacky on social media made her uncomfortable and put her at risk.
She detailed how shocked she became after the gospel musician gave a hint about her pregnancy on social media.
Tracey recounted her doctor advised her to stay off social media when she went to the hospital. The doctor even suggested she should use a phone (Yam) which cannot give her access to social media sites.
The popular Ghanaian actress thought her hope of having another baby had gone when she bled for some time.
Luckily, Tracey Boakye disclosed the baby and everything was okay after she went for a scan.
She also shared how she argued with her little son, Kwaku over the gender of the baby. Little Kwkau expected a boy while his mother was looking forward to having a baby girl—and her wish was granted in the long run.
Interestingly, Tracey Boakye revealed her son was the one who proposed the name Nhyira for her and after many thoughts, she accepted to name the baby Nhyira because it’s a unisex name.
She announced the birth of her second child, Nana Akua Nhyira on May 14, 2020, via Instagram.
