Celestine Donkor Says Primitive Ghanaian Christians Are Bashing Her For Featuring Efya And Akwaboah On A Song

Popular Ghanaian Gospel musician, Celestine Donkor has stated that she has been heavily criticized after she featured Efya and Akwaboah on her new song.

Registering her displeasure in a post-Newshuntermag.com chanced upon on Facebook, Celestine Donkor said most of her critics indicated that they do not like the ‘Thank You’ (Yedawase) because she featured secular musicians.

She disclosed that some Christian media channels have declined to play the song following its release.

According to her, such thinking is primitive and a section of Ghanaian Christians who think like that should change.

I HAVE BEEN BASHED FOR FEATURING SECULAR MUSICIANS ON THIS SONG ..

THIS COMMENT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES BECAUSE -THIS IS THE REASON FOR WHY I DO GOSPEL MUSIC: TO DRAW  SOULS FOR CHRIST..

Since the release of this new song #ThankYou_Yedawase  I have heard very unfortunate comments from key industry people saying “They don’t like the song because I featured #Ewiasefour = (secular musicians)”

Even Some Christian media channels have refused to play the song on their media because I featured “Ewisasefour(Secular musicians)”

Hmm.. It surprises me that at such age and times we are in, some people still live with such primitive way of thinking. This is really sad and a disappointment to the purpose of the gospel.

WELL I WANT TO USE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO TELL THE WORLD THAT MY GOSPEL MUSIC IS NOT FOR “SELF ACLAIMED RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE,”  IT IS FOR ALL WHO NEED THE MESSAGE OF THE GOSPEL TO BLESS THEIR LIVES.

For those who think they are in the position to judge others, I guess one of these days, God has to get up from his throne so you can go and sit on it and judge since you know how to judge better.. right.?

▪︎SO WHO QUALIFIES TO SING GOSPEL SONGS UNTO GOD or ABOUT GOD?

▪︎SO WHAT IS THE MESSAGE OF THE GOSPEL MEANT FOR??

No wonder in our churches today we have only “recycled Christians” (Souls from one denomination of church to another)” and the real New souls are not being reached because WE LACK STARATAGY on how to reach these souls that Christ needs at the right sources where they are…
