How 3 Songs Of Shatta Wale Were Chosen For The ‘Black Beach’ Movie Revealed

Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, well known as Shatta Wale, earned another enviable feat in his music career after three (3) of his songs were featured in a Spanish movie.

Shatta Wale’s ‘Ayoo’, ‘Mama Stories’ and ‘My Level’ songs were featured in a Spanish movie, ‘Black Beach’ which is distributed on Netflix.

Information about how these songs were chosen was not readily available when the news broke.

However, 4Real Mensah, who was part of the Special Effect crew during the production of the movie, has revealed how it happened.

During an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM, Mr Mensah stated that Ghana’s Ambassador to Spain, Elizabeth Adjei played a pivotal role.

He indicated that Shatta Wale fit into what the directors wanted, so they selected him after some consultations.

4Real Mensah said this was after he was featured on Beyoncé’ ‘Lion King: The Gift’ album.

He also pointed out the vital role that the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA).
