It was a very sad moment when the mother of an embattled Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo was interviewed on radio today.
Auntie Lydia, the mother of Akuapem Poloo, couldn’t hold back her tears when she was commenting on the issue in a video Newshuntermag.com has seen.
Speaking via the phone line, Poloo’s mum, who was talking to Peace FM’s Kwasi Aboagye emotionally begged Ghanaians to help her.
She stressed that Ghanaians should plead with the judge on her daughter’s behalf.
Auntie Lydia stated that Akuapem Poloo is remorseful, so the judge should forgive her.
She said she has not been able to eat due to the issue.
Akuapem Poloo’s mother added that the son of the actress is also worried.
Akuapem Poloo was convicted by the Accra Circuit Court after she posted a nak*d photo with her son last year.
Many Ghanaian celebrities and social media users have already launched #FreeAkuapemPoloo campaign online.
