Ghanaian actress and model, Andrea Owusu, well known as Efia Odo, has explained the motive behind the #FixTheCountry campaign.
For some days now, a section of Ghanaian Twitter users have called out the government to solve the numerous challenges in the country.
They started with the hashtag #FixTheCountry on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
The online campaign trended on number one following its launch.
The campaigners showed their seriousness by notifying the Ghana Police Service of their decision to organize a protest march.
They were relentless despite the opposition by some government officials and supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) who told them to fix themselves.
Throwing more light on the campaign, Efia Odo, who is one of the conveners in a video sighted by Newshuntermag.com, stated that the #FixTheCountry campaign is not a political agenda.
