Rising Ghanaian Gospel musician, Kwaku Sakyi has waded into the discussion about Gospel musicians working with secular musicians.

Some Ghanaian Gospel musicians have been chastised for featuring secular musicians over the years.

When asked about his view on this topic during an interview with Newshuntermag.com’s Kofi Oppong Kyekyeku on Unlimited Chat With K.O.K, Kwaku Sakyi said he doesn’t see anything wrong with it if a Gospel musician decides to feature a secular musician.

He reiterated that there is no problem with such a decision if the person understands what he or she is doing.

The Sunyani-based Gospel musician mentioned how Paul changed to win others to join the Kingdom business.

He, however, indicated that the content that the secular musician is coming up with is what should be looked at.

Kwaku Sakyi further cited how Ghanaian Christians and churches sing and perform some songs deemed as Gospel but composed by secular musicians.

He added that the producer/director of ‘Passion Of Christ’ is not even a Christian but the movie has been used by Churches to win souls.

Kwaku Sakyi averred he won’t relent in working with secular musicians when he is touched to do so.

The ‘Onokwafo’ composer argued that most music producers are within the secular sector.

He advised Christians not to judge secular musicians from afar.
