The residents of Nkwantaso in the Dormaa West district of the Bono region have asked the government to pay attention to an abandoned Community Day school project in the area.
The residents in an interview with Newshuntermag.com’s reporter expressed disappointment in the way the NPP government has neglected a Community Day Senior High school project initiated by the John Dramani Mahama administration.
According to them, the issue of abandoned projects by successive governments has over the years been the norm and it is hard time the practice stops as it deprives voters in such communities of their constitutional rights.
They accused the government of causing financial loss to the state which authorities must provide answers to and explain why the project had been abandoned for the past five years.
The Youth Leader of Nkwantaso, James Dongara described the New Patriotic Party government’s action as unfair to the people of Nkwantaso and Dormaa West district as a whole.
He added that Nana Akufo- Addo is the worst president Ghana has ever seen, the uncompleted school has block a lot of economic activities in the community.
Some of the residents also expressed their worries.
