Ghanaian musician, Andrew Nii Commey Otoo, popularly known as Mr Drew, has revealed why he left Highly Spiritual Music, a record label owned by Kaywa.
Many people were wondering why he parted ways with the label.
But speaking in an interview with Cookie Tee on TV3 that Newshuntermag.com has come across, the ‘How It Feels’ singer indicated that he left Highly Spiritual Music after his contract ended.
While he didn’t see the need to extend it, the young musician believes the decision will help him to progress with his career.
“Everyone wants growth; you can’t stay in one place for a long while. It’s more about moving ahead,” he stated.
Mr Drew disclosed he got the blessings of his former manager, Kaywa, following the decision to leave.
He is now prepared as an independent artiste until a different deal comes his way.
