If anyone believes cricticising actress, Nikki Samonas, on her provocative style of dressing will give her a change of mind, then such critics must beat a retreat.
The My First Wife star who has been in the news recently, mostly for wearing revealing outfits has called on such “good Samaritans” to mind their business since she loves the attention she is receiving with the way she dresses.
“I am not bothered at all by what people say and I can’t blame them for having their own opinions but since I am minding my own business, I expect that they mind theirs too,” she said in an interview with Showbiz last Tuesday.
According to the TV host and model, every celebrity has his/her strategy for remaining relevant in the public eye so if flashing some flesh would get her needed attention, she cannot be bothered by people’s differing opinions.
“Yvonne Nelson catches attention with her legs, Joselyn Dumas with her hips, so if the way I dress will do the trick for me why not? she revealed.
Nikki disclosed that although she is primarily known for her acting, she has been busy trying her hands on other projects. She told Showbiz she recently directed her first project, a short film titled, Love at the Time of Odwira.

She said the movie, a romantic thriller, follows the relationship of two individuals who meet and fall in love during the Odwira festival. Their romance is, however, cut short as a result of some traditional restrictions and practices.

“This is my first time directing and although it was challenging, I have to admit it has been a unique experience. The short film is already available on YouTube and I urge Ghanaians to watch it,” she said.
Nikki Samonas said her decision to go into directing had been well received by some influential people in the showbiz industry and as a result, she had received numerous calls to direct other projects as well.
“I would like to thank Kalybos for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talents. Directing was one of the courses I studied back in school but I’ve not had the opportunity to try my hands at any projects untuntil now.”
