Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Ghanaian songstress, Ateaa Tina, has explained why it is not wrong if Nigerian songs enjoy airplay in Ghana.

Speaking to Agyenkwa FM’s B Ice in an interview Newshuntermag.com has chanced upon, Tina sees it as normal if Nigerian songs are played in Ghana.

She stated Nigeria and Ghana are neighbouring countries, so it’s not alarming when certain similarities emerge.

Ateaa Tina indicated that she has not been to Nigeria before and she doesn’t know how often Ghanaian songs are played there, but there is nothing wrong with their songs being played here.

She, however, clarified that Nigerian songs shouldn’t be played more than Ghanaian songs.

Tina, who was a backing vocalist for Daddy Lumba some time ago, also disclosed how she sees the Ghanaian Music Industry.

To her, the state of the industry is okay.

She is currently working on her solo projects.

Ateaa Tima teamed up with Okyeame Kwame to release ‘By Force’ some months ago.
