Some women at Seikwa–Tainso, a farming community in the Tain District of the Bono Region, are very angry over an abandoned clinic that was initiated by the NDC administration.
The group led by Madam Yeboah Agnes of Seikwa-Tainso threatened to stage a nak3d demonstration if the government fails to complete the abandoned clinic within a month.
According to them, most women are suffering at Seikwa Tainso, especially pregnant women.
They mentioned that the lack of a health facility in the area has compelled them to receive treatment at Seikwa or Berekum.
They urged President Akufo-Addo led government to pay immediate attention to them and complete the abandoned clinic.
The Assemblyman and Unit Committee Chairman of the area supported the women in an interview with Newshuntermag.com’s Mark Asante.
