Ghana is a victorious country in this year but needed prayer and intersections from men of God to make that victory a reality, Apostle Kwadwo Osei Anane, the founder and general overseer of the Calvary Love Ministry has revealed.
Preaching at the 31st December watch night services at the church headquarters in Sunyani Abesim, he declared that the coming 2020 general elections shall be peaceful.
Citing the Scripture of Isaiah 54 reading from verse 9, Apostle Anane explained that although challenges may come like an unstoppable flood, the Spirit of God shall lift a standard against it.
Apostle Anane said “God had ushered Ghana from darkness into light in 2020” but needed prayers because the challenges may be seen physically but demand spiritual interventions from true men of God to overcome any obstacle.
He entreated men of God to use their pulpit to explain to their congregations the need for the individual citizen to contribute their quotas to ensuring cohesion for sustainable peace and democracy of the nation.
This he cited would facilitate speedy implementation of the developmental agenda of the country.
“A Democratic citizen is the one who jaw-jaws and does not assault as a way of expressing disagreement,” Apostle Anane noted.
He urged Political Party leaders and communicators to have the country’s peace at heart and consider their choices of words so that anyone who does not understand the political language would not over react.
