Ghanaian entertainment critic, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, has chided Criss Waddle over his recent VGMA comment.

The Ghanaian musician stated that Camidoh would not have had an opportunity if it was some years ago.

He added that the organizers would even give him meagre payment for his performance.

His comment was on the heels of Camidoh introducing Mayorkun and King Promise to perform at the just ended VGMA.

Criss Waddle also stated that the VGMA organizers have stepped up their game because of the 3Music Awards.

Responding to this in a post-Newshuntermag.com has seen, Arnold rubbished Waddle’s comment.

He stated that it’s nonsense because Charterhouse, the organizers of the VGMA have sought the services of high profile international artistes within the last 23 years.

Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, therefore, implored Criss Waddle to put some respect on the name of Charterhouse and VGMA’s.

He wrote: “Nonsense, total BS! Tears of which joy? The VGMA could not afford a budget to style Camidoh and put King Promise and Mayorkun on the stage some years ago? Ah!

“Do you know the number of high profile international artistes that have mounted that stage in the last 23years? Charlie, chide them when necessary but put some damn respect on Charterhouse/VGMA’s name.”
