Bawumia Lacks What It Takes To Make Tough Decisions; NPP Should Not Choose Him As Their Next Flagbearer – Economist Avers

An economist and international relations expert, Dr Julius Kattah has advised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to choose Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as their next Flagbearer.

He tagged the current Vice President of Ghana as a failure.

Despite being touted as an economic messiah, Dr Kattah asserted he has not been able to deliver.

He added that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who is the leader of the Economic Management Team, has failed to find solutions to the economic issues confronting the country.

The economist stressed that Dr Bawumia lacks what it takes to make tough decisions.

“The choice of Dr Bawumia is not an option the New Patriotic Party (NPP) must opt for. He is not a tough-minded person. He lacks what it takes to make tough decisions and I believe Trades Minister Alan Kyeremanten could do better compared to Dr Bawumia,” he said.

Dr Julius Kattah further stated: “As the leader of the economic management team, Dr Bawumia has failed. However, that is my opinion. Others will say because he is the Vice President, he could be the President. But I disagree with that.”
