The University of Ghana has broken its silence on Samini and the Security Guard’s issue.
Samini, a popular Ghanaian musician, was unhappy about how he was treated by a Security Guard at the Legon Campus.
He shared a video to register his displeasure after the Guard denied him entry for not having a pass.
The musician claimed he switched his car to a different one which did not have a pass.
Later, he apologized after he was chastised by some social media users.
In a statement seen by Newshuntermag.com, the Registrar of the University of Ghana, Mrs Emelia Agyei-Mensah, stated that without the UG electronic card (e-card), vehicles will not be allowed to enter.
The statement explained that these cards are not transferable.
