Ghanaian musician, Dennis Nana Dwamena, widely known as KiDi, has condemned the denigrating and backlashing of TikTokers in the country.

TikTokers in Ghana have not been spared in recent weeks.

This was after Matina Dwamena, also known as Asantewaa, stated in a discussion on UTV that they (TikTokers) now have the power to make songs go viral.

She said without them, musicians would have to sing their songs themselves.

Asantewaa was heavily chastised after her remark.

She later apologized, stating that she did not mean to speak against anyone.

When asked about his view on the TikTok craze in an interview with Olele Salvador via Twitter Space that Newshuntermag.com has come across, KiDi spoke against some people’s attempt to fight TikTok and its influencers.

The Lynx Entertainment artiste explained that TikTok is now part of music’s ecosystem.

KiDi stressed that everybody is important when it comes to music promotion.

He further advised his colleagues to use all avenues, whether traditional media or the new media when promoting music.
