Freda Owusuaah Bioh of J Life FM has earned a nomination in the 2022 Ghana National Gospel Music Awards.
Ms Bioh was nominated in the Gospel Music Promoter of the Year category.
She will be competing for the bragging right in this category with Emmanuel Kwame Sarpong of Citi TV, Dr Melody of No.1 FM, Nhyira FM’s Pastor Jerry, So Me So of Oyerepa FM, Radio One’s Gospel General, Nii Noi of ATV, Fante Brada of Top FM, Zylofon FM’s DJ Paloma, Franky 5 of Hitz FM, CTV’s Sir Solomon and Sampson Bonney of Onua FM.
Freda Owusuaah Bioh is the host of J life FM’s Drive Time program (Life after Lunch) which airs from 2:15 PM to 5 PM on weekdays and the Weekend Breakfast Show (Rythmz) on Saturdays, 8 AM to 11 AM.
Speaking to Newshuntermag.com after her nomination, Freda disclosed she was overwhelmed and excited.
She described her feeling as real because it actually shows that she is making an impact in her field and on others as well.
As the only nominee from the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions, Freda thinks she achieved this through hard work and determination.
“When you are doing something, you think nobody is watching or following you, you just don’t have to give up, it hasn’t been easy but you just have to focus and then the recognition attracts,” she said.
Freda asked God to bless her audience for their support and believing in what she does.
“They should follow me on all my social media handles (Freda Bioh for both IG and Twitter ) and Freda Owusuaah Bioh on Facebook for more procedures on how they can cast their vote as I am representing the
Bono, Ahafo, and Bono east Region,” affable and benevolent radio presenter added.
The 2022 Ghana National Gospel Music Awards will be held in Accra in August.
