Veteran Ghanaian musician, Reggie Rockstone, is triggering the Ghana – Nigeria music debate again.

While some people have criticized Ghanaian creatives for failing to tell their stories, the Grandpapa of Hiplife disagrees.

He told Andy Dosty in an interview on Hitz FM—which Newshuntermag.com has come across that he did not get the needed support for his ‘Living The Hiplife’ documentary following its release.

Reggie wondered why Ghanaians are in a haste to talk about Nigeria’s ‘Afrobeats: The Backstory’ documentary without paying attention to what they have.

He stated that his documentary was in detail, capturing everybody—but Nigeria’s Afrobeats: The Backstory’ on Netflix failed to tell Ghana’s full contribution to Afrobeats.

Reggie Rockstone, therefore, implored Ghanaians to focus and make theirs better.
