A court has remanded Nana Agradaa over the latest money-doubling scam.
The Ghanaian fetish priestess turned evangelist, has been in the news a few days ago for swindling some of her church members.
Following viral reports about the issue, the leader of Heaven Way Church was arrested on Sunday, October 9, 2022.
She was arraigned before the court on Monday, October 10, 2022.
Agradaa, also known as Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, was charged with defrauding by false pretense and charlatanic advertisement on TV and newspaper to lure her victims.
She was remanded into police custody for three days.
Agradaa is expected to reappear in court on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
