Ghanaian actress, Sarah Baafi has made a donation to Edwenease Rehabilitation Center in Kumasi.
The actress who is actively part of Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu’s casts in Mesduah Production provided people living with disability with items such as bags of rice, cooking oils, toiletries, books, pens, biscuits, assorted non-alcoholic drinks, clothes and many more worth ten thousand Ghana cedis GHs 10,000.
In addition, she also donated an undisclosed amount of money to them.
The Event, which was part of the actress’ birthday celebration, was her way of giving back and helping the needy in society. Though she could have enjoyed herself with her numerous celebrity friends at home, Sarah decided to spend the day with the Vulnerable where her team sang and danced.
One of the residents who received the donation on behalf of the Center prayed for Sarah Baafi and her team and wished them well in all their endeavours.
According to Sarah Baafi, she chose to spend her birthday with the Edwenease Rehabilitation Center with the aim of putting smiles on their faces.
She urged fellow actresses, actors and other individuals to also extend a helping hand to the needy.
The actress embarks on this philanthropic activity often on her yearly birthday.
