Popular Ghanaian media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah, has asked Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta to resign.
The GHOne TV General Manager took to her Twitter page to make this call.
She stated in her post seen by Newshuntermag.com that Mr Ofori-Atta should resign immediately if he has a conscience.
Nana Aba tweeted: “If you have a conscience and humility as the Christian you make us believe you are, you’ll acknowledge that the voice of people is the voice of God. RESIGN, KEN OFORI-ATTA. WALK AWAY.”
The broadcaster’s tweet was on the back of a section of NPP Members of Parliament petitioning President Akufo-Addo to sack the Finance Minister.
Many Ghanaians want the Finance Minister to resign, thereby, calling on Nana Akufo-Addo to show him the exit.
Kwame Asare Obeng, otherwise known as A Plus, a Ghanaian social and political activist, urged Ghanaians at home and abroad to start a campaign that will compel President Akufo-Addo to sack Ken Ofori-Atta a few days ago.
There have been several complaints about the depreciation of the cedi and the high cost of living in Ghana.
