Black Sherif has opened up about the song he composed for his deceased High School lover.
He disclosed in an interview with B Ice on Agyenkwa FM in Kumasi that ‘Oh Paradise’—a song on his ‘The Villain I Never Was’ album was about Clementina Konadu, who died some years ago at age 17.
According to him, Tina was his High School girlfriend.
Sadly, Sherif revealed that she passed on following an influenza outbreak at the Kumasi Academy in 2017-2018.
He explained that he captured the incident in the song.
The young musician said in the ‘Oh Paradise’ song that their dream wedding did not come through because of the girl’s demise.
Black Sherif sympathized with the families of the students who died.
