Popular Ghanaian Gospel musician, Piesie Esther, has recalled the untold hardship she faced with her family.
Speaking in an interview with B Ice on Kumasi-based Agyenkwa FM, the ‘W’aye Me Yie’ singer said strong poverty engulfed them some years ago.
What to eat and wear, according to her, was a challenge.
Esther claimed her mother had no money to buy pants for her.
It got to a time she had to wear used pants from her friend.
She explained that her mother took the pants for her when this friend was about to throw them away.
Looking at where she is now, Piesie Esther averred she can only be grateful to God.
The celebrated Gospel musician implored others not to lose hope—she believes they will be crowned victoriously by God if they put their trust in Him.
